Ricky was invited to his daughter’s school St Hugh’s of Lincoln to discuss his new book African Kings. The school was celebrating black history month and were pleased to have a local author come in to talk about the book and discuss how he got the book published. Ricky explained that he found some interesting hidden histories that related to his background, but asked the children to research their own family heritage to find some hidden histories of their own.

History is history regardless of colour.

There are tales of great kings, which live throughout the ages.

But some have been lost and need some new pages.
